Announcement for various ACCT(I) Awards-2025:

The Association of Carbohydrate Chemists and Technologists- ACCT(I) is inviting nominations for the following awards and memorial lecture awards for the year 2025, which will be presented to the winners during the annual ACCT(I) conference (i.e. CARBO-XXXIX): International Carbohydrate Conference on Emerging Trends in Glycoscience and Glycotechnology (ETGG-2025) to be held at the Department of Chemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India on 21-23 November 2025:

1. Life-Time Achievement Award-2025 carries a cash award of Rs 50,000/-, a citation and a memento. Submit your CV detailing your achievements.

2. Excellence in Carbohydrate Research Award-2025, carries a cash award of Rs 30,000/-, a certificate and memento. Age bar for this award is 55 years or less as on 1st April 2025. Submit your CV detailing your achievements.

3. e-TCR Award for the best paper published in Trends in Carbohydrate Research, carries a cash award of Rs 30,000/-, a certificate, and a memento. The research paper for this award will be selected from those published in the issues 1 to 4 of Vol-16 (2024).

4. C G Merchant Memorial Award-2025 carries a cash award of Rs 30,000/- and a certificate along with the travel grant (single return fare between the nearest airport & the CARBO-XXXII venue). Submit your CV detailing your achievements and publications.

5. Prof. M P Khare Memorial Lecture Award-2025 carries a cash award of Rs. 15,000/- and a certificate and a memento. Submit your CV detailing your achievements and publications.

6. Dr. H C Srivastava Memorial Award-2025 carries a cash award of Rs 20,000/- and a certificate. The age bar for this award is 45 years or less as on 1st April, 2025. Research carried out in India will be considered for this award. Submit your CV detailing your achievements and publications.

7. ACCT(I) Young Scientist Award-2025: Age bar for this award is < 30 years on 1st April, 2025. The ACCTI(I)-YSA awards (3) are for the best oral presentations to be chosen from among the ten best poster presentations selected for oral presentation during CARBO-XXXIX to be held at BHU-Varanasi.
